Jackson Pollock

Before I do any more posts I want to comment on the Pollock movie. I have viewed five movies dealing with painters. I have come to the conclusion that MOST famous painters have serious personal issues. Frida Kahlo I found to be the exception to the rule. Her problems started with her accident no fault of her own, she moved on with her painting and life with Rivera. I wasn't sure what Pollock's issues stemmed from. It was obvious he had a drinking problem, maybe an inferiority complex, or he was a manic depressive and no respect for his wife, Lee. I'm glad her works sold after Pollock passed on.
